Frequently asked questions

At a glance

Answers to the questions we hear most from corporate L&D teams and government buyers — how we scope and quote work, program content, delivery formats, and sector fit. Every answer below uses only the facts published on this site.

How much does leadership training cost per employee?+

It depends on delivery format and headcount, so every engagement is quoted individually rather than sold off a rate card. Self-paced eLearning is licensed per person, with volume tiers that lower the per-person rate as headcount grows. Live cohort-based training is quoted flat per cohort rather than per person, so the effective per-person cost falls as you fill the cohort. Tell us your headcount, preferred format, and timeline through the contact form at /contact/ and we'll send pricing.

What is included in a frontline manager training program?+

Pediment Mindworks' New / Frontline Manager Foundations program covers transitioning from individual contributor to manager, understanding your communication style (DiSC or similar), conducting effective 1:1s, delegation and setting clear expectations, giving and receiving feedback, leading your team through change (using a model like ADKAR), and time management for new leaders. It includes 1:1 conversation guides, delegation worksheets, feedback frameworks, and change communication templates. Full detail is on /programs/frontline-manager-foundations/.

Does Pediment Mindworks work with state and local government agencies?+

Yes. State and local government is a core, distinct vertical for Pediment Mindworks, covering frontline supervisor development, first-time manager programs, and mandatory compliance training (sexual harassment prevention, workplace violence prevention, ethics, records retention, mandatory reporter training, and justice-sector training like CJIS Security Awareness and Crisis Intervention Training). See /government/ for the full breakdown.

What's the difference between instructor-led and on-demand training?+

Instructor-led training (in-person or virtual) is delivered live by a facilitator to a cohort and quoted as a flat fee per cohort, so cost doesn't climb with each added participant up to the cohort cap. On-demand training is self-paced eLearning that a learner completes independently, licensed per person with volume tiers at higher headcounts. Many programs, including Frontline Manager Foundations, are available in both formats — and we'll quote either once we know your headcount.

How long does it take to build a custom eLearning course?+

It depends on complexity, which we measure in development hours per finished hour of content. A Level 1 build (narrated slides, light interaction, knowledge checks) runs roughly 33–40 development hours per finished hour. A Level 2 build (branching, scenario practice) runs 125–220 development hours per finished hour. A Level 3 advanced simulation runs 345–750 development hours per finished hour. Once we know your content and interaction level we quote the build against that ratio — book a consultation at /contact/ for a scoped estimate.

How much does executive coaching cost?+

Coaching is quoted by engagement rather than published as a rate card, because the right shape varies. You can book individual 60-minute sessions, a six-session package running about two to three months, a twelve-session executive package over six to twelve months, or group/cohort coaching that spreads cost across up to twelve participants. Tell us which shape fits at /contact/ and we'll send pricing.

What change management framework does Pediment Mindworks use?+

Pediment Mindworks builds Change Management work around ADKAR/Prosci-based change frameworks, covering change readiness assessment, stakeholder analysis, communication planning, sponsor coaching, and resistance management. Full-org culture change and M&A integration change support are typically scoped as Custom Engagements given their scale and confidentiality. See /solutions/change-management/ and our ADKAR guide article.

Does Pediment Mindworks build mandatory compliance training?+

Yes. Compliance & Regulatory Development is scoped by module length, because longer statutory minimums require more content, more interaction checkpoints, and more assessment. We regularly build 30-minute single-policy modules, 60-minute modules sized to meet common 1-hour statutory minimums (like California's non-supervisory sexual harassment training requirement), and 120-minute modules sized to meet 2-hour minimums (like California's supervisory requirement). Each is quoted individually. Requirements vary by state and role — confirm current requirements with your legal or compliance counsel. See /government/ for the full category list.

How does Pediment Mindworks price engagements?+

Every engagement is scoped and quoted individually rather than sold off a published rate card, because cost depends on headcount, delivery format, and how much content has to be built. Advisory and coaching work is scoped against a defined set of deliverables and timeline; self-paced content is quoted by complexity level and finished-hour; live delivery is quoted flat per cohort rather than per participant. Start at /contact/ — tell us scope and timeline and we'll send pricing in writing.
